I am trying to use the new Dev-Cpp 4.9.3.0 for simple C programming. When I start up Dev-Cpp I got the following message: 'Could not open languague file English.lng' After that I click on 'ok' then DevCpp starts. When I try to start a project, I also got a strange message: 'File not found'. Dev-C not working. I snagged a copy of C for Dummies from the library and was typing the first example program into Dev-C. After numerous errors. May 31, 2015  The first thing to do is to check the installation folder of the application. Right click Dev C and go to Properties Open file location.Browse the folder and check the Lang folder as well. If the English file is there, then locate the executable file for DEV C and use Run as Administrator. This will give the application the full access to use the language file from the target folder.

I saved a assignment that me and a friend have been working on for ages and there are 6 files in the folder. Assignment1.exe, Assignment1.layout, Assignment1.dev, main.cpp, main.o and makefile.win. I can run the program fine by running the .exe but i can longer actually view the code. Ide usually just open the .dev file and theres my code but now i get:
